Béla Czimber - Garden & Homestead Canvas

Every piece in this collection is a large-format canvas print of a painting by Béla Czimber (1900–1964), a Hungarian traditional artist and university art professor. The dominant subject is the European garden and homestead — farmsteads, flowering grounds, village commons, and the kind of agricultural landscape that shaped midcentury Hungarian and Western European life. Several of the largest prints in this collection are reproductions of murals Czimber painted for public and institutional settings; they're designed to fill a wall the way the originals did. His great-grandson digitized these works to bring them to a wider audience for the first time.
